Kozza Smith could miss King's Lynn's double-header with Redcar

King's Lynn Stars are assessing the extent of a hip injury suffered by Kozza Smith.

The Australian crashed while riding for Ipswich in an Elite League meeting against Coventry.

Smith was given the all-clear by medical staff at the track following the crash but went to hospital after suffering severe pain overnight.

He has been diagnosed with muscle damage and could miss the Stars' two meetings with Redcar this week.
