Dawid Stachyra was taken to a Coventry hospital for tests

Ipswich Witches say riders David Stachyra and Kozza Smith both escaped serious injury after a collision during a meeting at Coventry on Monday.

The pair, plus Coventry's Jordan Frampton, crashed during heat two of the Elite League clash at Brandon.

Stachyra was taken to a local hospital and released after X-rays which showed no broken bones while Smith withdrew complaining of pains and soreness.

Both will miss the next Witches meeting against Belle Vue on Thursday.
