Witches prepare for Eagles clash

Danny King
Danny King missed out on a last-four place in the British final by one point

Ipswich Witches have no injury concerns ahead of their home Elite League meeting against Eastbourne on Thursday.

Danny King will be in the side after narrowly missing out on a semi-final place in the British final at Poole.

Witches team manager Pete Simmons believes victory is vital if they are to improve their position in the table.

He said: "Eastbourne are the team we must overhaul in the league to move in to a play off position so nothing less than all three points will do."

Eastbourne will be without injured riders Simon Gustafsson and David Norris and have drafted in Chris Schramm to ride at number eight.

They will use the rider replacement facility in place of Norris.
