Ipswich Witches overturned a 12-point deficit to edge out Peterborough Panthers 48-45 at Foxhall in front of a big bank holiday crowd on Monday.

Jarek Hampel and Danny King sealed the win in a final-heat thriller.

King told BBC Radio Suffolk that a half-time dressing down from team manager Pete Simmons inspired the win.

"I can't repeat some of the things that were said, but credit to him. He knows when to tell us off and he probably won us the meeting in the end," he said.
