Risager has an Elite League average of 4.42

Ipswich Witches have secured the signing of Morten Risager on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old Dane, who joins on loan from the Swindon Robins, will provide cover for the injured Witches skipper Leigh Lanham.

Ipswich manager Peter Simmons has been keen to bring in cover to help his team prepare for their upcoming fixtures.

"I'm delighted to be going into a busy April schedule with a seven-man team," Simmons told the club's website.

"With Morten on board for the next month, it takes the pressure off both the reserves and Tobi Kroner who would have taken the rider replacement rides."
