Brummies hope for home flourish

Birmingham Brummies

Birmingham Brummies aim to begin their 2009 campaign at Perry Barr with a win over Rye House in the Premier League Trophy on Wednesday (1930 GMT).

The Brummies lost 57-39 to Rye House on 15 March and have also been beaten by Stoke in the M6 Trophy.

But boss Graham Drury said: "We're not pressing the panic button, we have faith in the team.

"People must also remember we have a lot of new signings who need time to settle," he added.

Ben Taylor returns at reserve for Birmingham after missing the Stoke meeting.

Rye House will have Lakeside's Stuart Robson guesting in place of the injured Chris Neath.

BIRMINGHAM: Jason Lyons, Richard Sweetman, Ludvig Lindgren, Tomasz Piszcz, Robert Ksiezak, Ben Taylor, Marek Mroz.

RYE HOUSE: Stuart Robson, Joe Haines, Linus Sundstrom, Robert Mear, Tommy Allen, Andrew Silver, Luke Bowen.
