Birmingham Brummies have confirmed that Grand Prix star Seb Ulamek will ride in the season-opening Alan Hunt Memorial Trophy on 18 March.

The 33-year-old Polish rider is coming to the UK for another meeting in Sheffield three days earlier.

"There's no doubt Seb is a class act and we're looking forward to seeing him in Birmingham for the first time," said Brummies boss Graham Drury.

Birmingham asset James Wright has also agreed to join the field at Perry Barr.

"James was very quick to accept our invitation," noted Drury.

"He was under consideration for a place in our team this season but he decided he wanted to stay in the Elite League despite not being part of Swindon's plans this year.

"He joined Belle Vue and I wish him all the best for his season with them," he added.
