Birmingham Brummies have added Australian rider Robert Ksiezak to their line-up for 2009. The 21-year-old joins Jason Lyons, Richard Sweetman and Ben Taylor as confirmed members of the squad. The former Glasgow and Edinburgh rider has impressed in four appearances at Perry Barr, averaging eight points. "Robert has been given a big financial incentive to achieve an average of eight points and above," said Brummies boss Graham Drury. "He's a good lad with a lot of ambition and he will be moving into the Birmingham area," Drury added. "He's looking forward to a change of track after spending four seasons in Scotland, the travelling will be a lot better for him." Drury expects to confirm a fifth signing for 2009 before Christmas.
