Wolverhampton have agreed terms with Nicolai Klindt to keep him at Monmore Green for a second season. The 20-year-old averaged 5.05 points in the Elite League during 2008 and was crowned Danish Under-21 champion. "Everything is agreed with Nicolai and I will be amazed if he doesn't develop into a solid seven-point rider," said Wolves promoter Chris van Straaten. Last season's skipper Freddie Lindgren remains a priority as van Straaten looks to build a team for 2009. Wolves will begin contract talks with the Swedish rider when he returns from his holidays this weekend. Polish star Adam Scornicki is already confirmed as returning to Monmore after a three-year absence, while teenager Tai Woffinden will make the step up to the Elite League. Former skipper Peter Karlsson is also returning, with young Australian Tyron Proctor and American Chris Kerr getting some opportunities too.
