Wolverhampton have signed Chris Kerr and Ty Proctor to share one of their reserve positions in 2009.

Proctor will also ride for Redcar in the Premier League and Kerr will turn out for the Newport Wasps.

Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: "Both lads are based in the Wolverhampton area and they've been regular visitors to Monmore Green.

"I feel sure they can both do a good job for the team, they are exciting young talents."

Wolverhampton will continue negotiations with their 2008 captain Freddie Lindgren in the New Year.

Peter Karlsson has already been announced as skipper for next season, with Tai Woffinden and Adam Skornicki already confirmed as part of the team.
