Brookes has won the most races in BSB this season with five victories |
Worx Crescent Suzuki's Tommy Hill and HM Plant Honda's Josh Brookes claimed a win each in the British Superbike Championships at Cadwell Park. Hill, who started race one from pole position, was outpaced at the start by Brookes but took the lead back at the Old Hairpin on lap nine. In race two, polesitter Brookes slipped behind Hill and Ryuichi Kiyonari but passed both in moves at Hall Bends. Kiyonari took third in both races for the Louth-based HM Plant squad. Elsewhere, Alistair Seeley on the TAS Suzuki clinched the sixth and final place in the end-of-season title shootout, finishing eighth and ninth in the two races. Louth's Peter Hickman had a frustrating afternoon on the Ultimate Racing Yamaha, crashing at Hall Bends on the penultimate lap of race one while in the points, and finishing 16th in race two after it was red-flagged because of an accident on lap 13.
