Chaz Davies World Supersport success attracts attention
Chaz Davies has had two third-place finishes this season
Herefordshire motorcycling star Chaz Davies's positive start to the World Supersport Series is attracting the attention of other teams.
Davies, 23, has enjoyed two podium finishes since joining Triumph BE1 Racing at the start of the season.
"There's already been one pretty good offer and quite a bit of talk and that's quite surprising.
"There are a lot of very good riders who still haven't got their positions sorted for next year."
In addition to third-place finishes in Spain and Kyalami in South Africa, he has also finished fourth on three occasions - and it is this consistency that has got him noticed.
It would be really something special to stay with Triumph and to actually win a championship

He has been around the paddock for long enough to know there is very rarely a swift outcome to any such discussions as there are many other factors to consider.
"It is always nice to get it nailed down," he added, "but sometimes it gets dragged out and sometimes it gets done pretty quickly.
"The problem is that it always comes from the top and there is a bit of shuffling to be done in MotoGP yet, and then there is World Superbikes and then us.
"So there is a bit of shuffling to go on yet so no doubt it is going to go on for a while but that's ok as I am used to that."
Davies, from Kinsham, stresses that he is very happy at BE1 Racing, confirming that he has just opened talks with them about next season.
"They are talking pretty heavily with Triumph about stepping up the support for next year and helping develop the bike a bit more," he said.
"It's never just a question of one thing as there are always a few things that need to click into place so we are talking to them at the moment.
"It would be really something special to stay with Triumph and to actually win a championship and it is perfectly feasible for next year."
