Bjerre averaged over 10 points for Peterborough last season
Kings Lynn number one Kenneth Bjerre has said he "belongs" at Peterborough after the 2006 champions were allowed back in to this year's Elite League.
The 26-year-old spent the last four years with the Panthers.
"It feels weird because Peterborough is where I want to be," the Dane told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"But, if I'm not at Peterborough I want to be at Kings Lynn. I'm going to enjoy the season here and hopefully take them forward to big things."
Bjerre was pleased to see Peterborough Panthers and Coventry Bees re-admitted to the Elite League after being left out following a dispute centring on rule changes for the 2011 season.
He said: "They belong in the Elite League and it's nice to see Kings Lynn and Birmingham up as well, they're two really good clubs.
"It's going to be exciting with 10 teams in."
The world number seven followed former Panthers captain Nil Kristian Iversen to Kings Lynn in December.
His brother Lasse Bjerre, who is a Peterborough asset, spent time on loan at the Norfolk club in 2010.
And Bjerre has been impressed with the facilities at the Norfolk Arena: "It's always prepared really well, it's top class every time.
"It's a different shape from Peterborough so in a few meetings we'll be set up for this."
It is Kings Lynn's first season in the top flight since 2002.
"I'm sure we've got a team that can go in to the play-offs, and when you're in the play-offs anything can happen," Bjerre concluded.
