King's Lynn promoter Keith Chapman says Peterborough's re-entry to the Elite League has added to the excitement at the club for the new season.

Panthers and Coventry Bees will race in the 2011 Elite League after overcoming a long-running dispute with the British Speedway Promoters' Association.

Chapman told BBC Radio Norfolk: "I'm just looking forward to it more.

"We've been working behind the scenes quite hard to get it sorted out and I'm relieved both teams are now back in."

He added: "As a club we were always voting for them to come in and we never changed our views."

The Stars will race in the Elite League for the first time since 2002 having been invited to take part after Panthers and Bees were originally excluded.

Chapman said: "We're working away at putting a new fence up and I wish it was a full meeting tomorrow."
