Danish brothers Kenneth and Lasse Bjerre have been named as Peterborough Panthers assets for next season.

Kenneth, 26, established himself as the Panthers' number one in 2010, averaging over 10 points a meeting.

Younger sibling Lasse is likely to continue his development at Premier League side King's Lynn Stars.

The 17-year-old established himself as a top rider for the Stars, as displayed by his 13-point haul against league champions Newcastle two weeks ago.

On his new deal Kenneth said: "I'm delighted to sign a new contract, I made it plain to everyone that I didn't want to ride anywhere else.

"I was as disappointed as anyone that we didn't win trophies this season and that's something to go for next year."

The Panthers finished the 2010 campaign third in the Elite League but lost in the play-off semi-finals to Coventry Bees.
