Harvey has had five pole positions and four wins from six races this season

Lincolnshire racing driver Jack Harvey hopes to add to his tally of four victories in the Formula BMW Europe Series at Silverstone this weekend.

The 17-year-old won both races from pole position at the previous round in Valencia to open up a 33-point lead in the standings.

The Fortec driver said: "It's my home race and circuit and both me and the team want to go out and win.

"If there was one event I really wanted to do well at, it's Silverstone."

Harvey is looking forward to racing on the revised Silverstone circuit.

"I liked the old layout but it's a fantastic circuit," he said.

"It's fast and will give the crowds some good overtaking to watch.

"I'm really looking forward to the whole weekend. I can't wait to get out on track and pick up where we left off in Valencia."
