Watts joined the Imps from Fulham in December

Lincoln City defender Adam Watts says he is hoping to be fit for the start of the new season as he continues his recovery from a broken leg.

The 22-year-old former Fulham man suffered the injury in the 2-2 draw with Grimsby in February.

He told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "You've got to learn from your body and if your body isn't right it'll tell you.

"So far my body has held up well. I'm doing exactly what the other boys are - I can't really ask for more than that."
