Hynek Stichauer has left Elite League speedway champions Wolverhampton to join Premier League side Stoke Potters.

The 22-year-old Czech rider will join on loan for the 2010 season, after riding 16 times for Wolves in 2009.

Potters promoter Dave Tattum said: "Hynek and his parent club believe that he would benefit from a season at Premier League level.

"I'm sure he will add to his average at Loomer Road and become one of the top riders in the league."

Stichauer, a former Czech under-19 champion, missed the latter part of the speedway season in Britain after breaking a bone in his back in a Polish League meeting in July.

Stoke now have four riders confirmed in their line-up for the 2010 season, with Stichauer joining skipper Jason Bunyan, Ricky Wells and James Holder at Loomer Road.
