Doolan was part of the treble-winning side in 2006

King's Lynn Stars have announced Kevin Doolan as their first signing for the new season.

The 27-year-old Australian rejoins the Stars for his third spell with the club after spending the last year on loan with Workington.

In 2007 he topped the Premier League averages with a stunning 10.32 point average but was unfortunately left out of the Stars team plans for 2009.

The rest of the Stars' line-up for the 2010 season is yet to be announced.

The announcement comes just 24 hours after the confirmation that speedway sensation Darcy Ward had completed his move to the Elite League side Poole Pirates.
