Plymouth Devils National League meeting with Weymouth Wildcats was abandoned due to heavy rain on Saturday evening. After three heats had been completed, officials deemed the weather too hazardous for the match to continue. Returning rider Mark Simmonds won the first race for the Devils ahead of Les Smart and Matt Wright. The Wildcats then took maximum points in the second race and James Cockle beat Paul Starke in the third race, as the other two riders failed to finish. The fixture has now been re-arranged for Saturday 18 July.
