Exeter Chiefs have signed Tonga international centre Suka Hufanga from French club Brive. The 26-year-old represented Tonga at the 2007 World Cup, scoring a try against England in the group stages. Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter said Hufanga's experience in France and on the international stage would be of great benefit to the side. "Hufanga is well thought of - he's a try scorer and he's also strong defensively," Baxter said. Hufanga is the Chiefs' ninth close-season signing. He will play for Tonga in the Pacific Nations Cup in Fiji which starts on 12 June, before joining up with the Chiefs in July.
