Huff is fifth in the driver standings on 36 points
World Touring Car Championship driver Rob Huff has admitted there is pressure on him to perform well in front of the home fans at Brands Hatch this weekend.
Cambridge-based Huff climbed to fifth in the WTCC driver standings two weeks ago after picking up nine points over the two races in Estoril, Portugal.
He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It's the only UK round we do so it lets everyone come along and see you."
"The are 250 people coming to see me from Cambridge alone."
But Huff added: "For sure it does [add pressure] but at the same time it's nice to have my friends and family coming to watch us."
The Chevrolet driver admitted Brands Hatch is a special track for him and said: "I worked there for a few years as an instructor and I've got many fond memories there.
I've qualified well there before, I've raced well there before and I've had podiums and wins there before

"I've done more laps round there than I've had hot dinners and I know the place very well."
Huff finished with fourth and third in the two rounds at Brands Hatch last season and is hopeful of more success this year, even with 46kg of ballast added after his success in Portugal.
He said: "I've qualified well there before, I've raced well there before and I've had podiums and wins there before.
"Even with the 46 kilos I'm confident we can go there, have a really good weekend and put a good show for all the spectators coming down."
