Hutchinson has fallen out of favour at Oxford United.

Oxford United midfielder Eddie Hutchinson has joined Cambridge United on a two-match trial.

The 26-year-old is expected to be included in the U's squad to face Coventry City at home on Saturday.

Hutchinson started his career at non-league Sutton United before moving to Brentford in 2000 for �75,000.

He moved to Oxford in 2006 after 116 league games for the Bees but has had some injury problems and was transfer-listed at the end of the season.

Meanwhile defender Pat Bexfield and winger Felino Jardim continue their trials as they aim to earn a contract for next season.
