Harvey has had back-to-back wins in Japan and Belgium |
Lincolnshire kart racer Jack Harvey's good form continued with victory in the Winning Series of Karting at Mariembourg in Belgium last weekend. The result, two weeks after victory in Japan, puts him second in the points table with two rounds left to run. Harvey was made to work hard though for the victory after suffering mechanical problems in one heat. He said: "I'm really happy to have taken my first win in the KF2 class of the WSK Championship." With two rounds of the series left to run Harvey is now just one point away from leading the championship. "If we can have a good round at Sarno then it should put us in good shape to see how the title might go at the last round," he said. "I'm approaching each round as it comes and going out with the same intention at each one, to win," Harvey added. He will be in action again next weekend, when he takes part in the next round of the MSA Super One British Championship at Rowrah in Cumbria.
