Lincolnshire kart racer Jack Harvey will return to familiar territory in the MSA Super One KF2 Championship on Sunday after competing in Europe. The latest round of the British series takes place at his home track, the PF international circuit near Ancaster. The 15-year-old, who is 10th in the competition standings, said: "I can't wait to race there. "I've always run well there and I'm going out with the same determination that I always do. I want to win again." Qualifying and practice take place on Saturday with the heats and finals the following day. Harvey returns to the Lincolnshire circuit after a difficult WSK Championship round at Lonato, Italy, where he suffered mechanical problems. "I had high hopes of stepping onto the podium," he said. | I can't wait to go out to Japan and race over there |
"I was fastest in the first two heats but had a problem with the kart midway through the second. "After that we couldn't seem to get back into the same place." The rising star faces a new challenge later this month as he visits Japan for the first time to race in the Asia-Pacific Championship. "I can't wait to go out to Japan and race over there," admitted Jack. "It's going to be another brand new experience for me and I want to go out and take another top result."
