Harvey is a reigning European Champion

Lincolnshire's European kart champion Jack Harvey won the opening race of the MSA Super One British competition at the Three Sisters circuit on Sunday.

Harvey, who drives for Birel Motorsport, dominated the first of the two points-scoring races but missed out on in the second after being shunted.

The 14-year-old said: "It was great to take victory for Birel.

"We had the head people from the factory and everything just worked perfectly," he added.

The teenager now has a four week break before he gets back into European competition, with the second round of the WSK KF2 Championship taking place in early May.
