All the action from Retief Goosen's play-off victory over Mark Brooks at the 101st US Open at Southern Hills.
First hole
After the drama of the 18th hole on Sunday both players start the play-off in equally dramatic fashion after failing to find the green with their second shots.
Goosen's chip-and-run from the front bunker lips the hole as does a putt from the fringe by Brooks.

Second hole
Brooks plays another excellent shot from off the green and chips to within a foot of the hole for a par.
After finding trees off the tee Goosen recovers and tentatively rolls a putt in for a par as well.

Third hole
Brooks is the first player to reach a green in regulation.
Goosen holes another good putt on the par-four third to save par before the American sinks one from six-feet for a birdie and an early lead.

Fourth hole
Both players have birdie opportunities on the fourth of the opening run of four par-fours.
After three saves Goosen makes a regulation four which Brooks follows with a par of his own.

Brooks makes hard work of reaching the green on the longest hole in championship golf.
He pushes his drive to the right and then pulls an iron from the rough on the right to the left.
The American finally reaches the green in four but Goosen is unable to take advantage and also hits the green with his fourth shot after a weak third fell short.
But the pair sink testing putts for a pair of pars.

Sixth hole
Brooks, with the honour, hits the heart of the green.
Goosen seems to be growing in confidence and hits his tee shot on the 175-yard par-three to within five feet of the hole.
Brooks just misses with a 30-footer but Goosen makes no mistake and draws level.

Seventh hole
Goosen holds the advantage through the hole and makes a regulation par.
Brooks, having held the lead two holes earlier slips back after his par putt just misses the hole.

Eighth hole
Both players hit slightly wayward tee shots at the 225-yard par-three.
Goosen leaves his in a bunker short of the green before Brooks fires one long that clatters into the crowd beyond the green.
Both make good recoveries and hole out for pars.

Ninth hole
Brooks hits another untidy shot off the tee and finds the trees.
He fluffs his recovery and makes the edge of the green in three, but Goosen is still inside him in two.
As Brooks labours to a bogey-five the South African makes a birdie with a sharp breaking left-to-right putt for an outward 33 compared to the American's 36.

Brooks finds the rough to the right of the sharp left-to-right dog-leg and is left with no option but to chip out onto the fairway.
Goosen also finds the rough off the tee but can see the green and lands his second on it to 15 feet.
He sinks another swinging putt and opens up a five shot lead after Brooks cards a second successive bogey.

Eleventh hole
Brooks needs to make up shots quickly but on the 165-yard par-three he pulls the wrong club from his bag to leave himself on the fringe of the green with a longer putt than his opponent.
Both players two-putt for pars.

Twelfth hole
Both players push their tee shots off the fairway to the right but whereas Goosen's finishes deep in the trees Brooks is lucky to see his ball bounce back clear of danger but still in the rough.
But the American's luck does not last and a fluffed chip to the green scuppers his chances of eating into Goosen's lead and the pair head to the second par-five on the course with a pair of fives and a brace of dropped shots.

Thirteenth hole
Goosen pushes another tee shot into the rough and Brooks gives himself a chance on the easiest hole at Southern Hills by finding the middle of the fairway.
But yet again Brooks is proving his own worst enemy.
The American finds a green side bunker which he fails to escape at the first attempt.
He saves par and matches Goosen to remain five shots adrift with five holes remaining.

Both players find the green off the tee at the final par-three on the course.
Brooks makes par and Goosen plays the hole conservatively and matches his opponent when his second putt drops in from the side of the hole.

Fifteenth hole
Brooks hits his approach to the green to within 10 feet but his putt lips out and after a pair of pars Goosen maintains his advantage with the holes running out.

Sixteenth hole
The American refuses to give Goosen the title and fires in another splendid approach which hops over the front bunker and rolls onto the green.
But he just misses on the high side with a birdie putt.
Goosen makes no mistake and assuredly rolls in his par putt in the centre of the hole.

Seventeenth hole
To the delight of the home crowd Brooks finds the heart of the green with his second shot after Goosen over-hits his approach.
The South African chips back onto the green from a hollow and two-putts from 25-feet for a bogey.
Brooks takes advantage and rolls in his effort from a similar distance to close to within three shots.

Eighteenth hole
Brooks has the honour for the first time since the fifth but finds the rough.
Goosen lands what he hopes will be his final tee shot of the tournament on the fairway.
Brooks fires in a low second but it barely gets off the ground and rolls into a bunker at the front of the green.
Goosen plays a poor approach which creeps onto the front of the green before rolling back onto the fairway.
Goosen opts to putt from off the green and after leaving two efforts woefully short wins the championship with his third effort.
