Woods has lacked his usual accuracy

Hole four:
On a hole where drive accuracy is key, the American fires a perfect two iron down the right side of the fairway to open up his route to the green. His second shot is a wonderful nine iron to within 15 feet of the hole and he rattles in the birdie putt.

Hole five:
The reigning champion pushes a poor tee shot 30 yards to the right of the pin, but his lie is not as bad as it could be as the long grass has been trampled down by the gallery of spectators. His second shot pitches on the green but with no backspin on it the ball rolls 30 feet beyond the hole. Woods misses the par putt and taps in to card a bogey.

Hole six:
The 25-year-old American sends another tee shot into the rough on the right side, but is once more lucky with his lie and is able to reach the green with a superb second shot. Woods rolls his eagle putt to just a foot away from the hole, giving him a simple birdie chance that he converts to reclaim the shot he dropped on fifth.

Hole seven:
Woods slices another drive into the rough down the right. This time he is not so fortunate with the lie and his second shot is a horrible slice into the trees on the behind the spectators. Left with an unplayable ball, Woods takes a drop from where he played his second shot. Now playing his fourth, Woods advances the ball 150 yards down the fairway before hitting a great chip shot to within 10 feet. Faced with a tricky putt for his bogey, Woods misses to card an ugly double bogey.

Woods struggled with his driving all day

Hole eight:
Tiger finally hits a straight drive to leave himself with a 170-yard approach to the green. Woods knocks his second shot just 10 feet short of the pin, but misreads his birdie putt and has to settle for a par.

Hole nine:
Woods' driving woe continues with a nine iron right through the back of the elevated green. His second shot, however, is almost perfect as he chips to within a foot to save his par.

Hole ten:
Woods follows a good drive with a solid second shot to set up a 20-foot birdie chance. The putt, however, passes just to the left of the hole and Tiger has to settle for a par.

Hole eleven:
Tiger smashes a huge drive to the right fringe of the fairway, but follows that with a dreadful second into the crowd on the left side of the green. He has a reasonable lie, however, and knocks his chip to the edge of the green to give himself another birdie chance. But the chance goes begging once more and Woods stays level for the round.

Hole twelve:
Woods puts his tee shot into the bunker at the back of the green, but gets up and down for his par three thanks to a superb sand wedge.

Hole thirteen:
Tiger puts two solid shots together to bring about another birdie opportunity....but once more he misses his putt.

Hole fourteen:
A 300-yard drive is followed by a deft pitching wedge to 15 feet, but the birdie putt misses the cup by a whisker and, to compound the misery, Woods then misses the comeback putt to card a bogey five.

Hole fifteen:
A good drive is followed by a wayward second that narrowly avoids the bunkers to the right of the green. Tiger's short game saves the day again, with a great chip making his par a formality.

Hole sixteen:
Tiger's eventful round continues to throw up fresh surprises. A lost ball, after his drive ends up under the grandstand to the right of the green, is the latest episode for the suddenly mortal Woods. A free drop into the rough follows and a chip and two putts rescues his par.

Hole seventeen:
Tiger's driving continues to let him down as he finds a bunker down the left side of the fairway. His second shot, however, is almost wonderful. He takes on the dogleg with a long iron, but with no backspin on the ball it ends up at the back of the green. A chip and a putt rescues his par.

Hole eighteen:
Another dreadful drive leaves Tiger with an unplayable lie in the trees down the right side of the fairway. He takes a drop 20 yards back in line with where he found his ball, and fires a blind third shot on to the green. Two putts make five, and Woods cards a bogey on the last hole.
