York City manager Gary Mills has completed a double loan swoop for striker Ashley Chambers and midfielder Robbie Weir.
Chambers, 20, has joined from Leicester City until January.
Weir, 21, has moved from Sunderland for a month after impressing in a midweek trial match.
Both players are expected to go straight into the squad for Sunday's match against Wrexham subject to Football Association clearance.
Chambers has represented England at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level and he became Leicester City's youngest ever first team player when he made his debut in September 2005 aged 15 and 203 days.
He spent time on loan at Wycombe Wanderers and Grimsby last season.
Weir was a regular in Sunderland's reserve team last season and is a Northern Ireland Under-21 international.
