Rhys Weston and Sam Parkin were both out of contract in the summer
Defender Rhys Weston and striker Sam Parkin have been released by League One side Walsall.
Wales international Weston, 29, joined the Saddlers in 2007 and had a trial with SPL side Motherwell in April.
Parkin, also 29, has struggled for first-team opportunities since his free transfer from Luton in July 2009.
"Rhys has been a valuable squad member, but we have decided to go our separate ways," manager Chris Hutchings told the club website. "The same goes for Sam."
He added: "I'd like to thank Rhys and Sam for their hard work and effort."
Weston made 111 appearances in his three years with the Saddlers, scoring once, while Parkin netted three times in 27 games.
