Parkin was relegated to the Blue Square Premier with Luton in May
Walsall have made Luton Town striker Sam Parkin their fourth summer signing, after the 28-year-old striker agreed a one-year deal with the League One club.
The former Chelsea trainee was released by Luton in June, following their relegation to the Blue Square Premier.
"He is a quality player who retains the ball well and brings others into play," Walsall manager Chris Hutchings told the official club website.
"This is another excellent addition to the squad."
Parkin follows recent signings Mark Hughes, Steve Jones and Josh O'Keefe into the Banks's Stadium.
The striker made his name at Swindon, scoring 67 goals in 124 games for the Robins, before joining Ipswich Town in the summer of 2005.
A broken ankle ruined his first season at Portman Road, and he was eventually sold to Luton for £340,000 a year later.
