Walsall have signed Wales international defender Rhys Weston from League One rivals Port Vale. The 26-year-old right-back played for Arsenal, Cardiff and Norway's Viking FK before joining the Valiants.
"He's been training with us for the last week or so and we're delighted he's signed a one-year deal here," boss Richard Money told Walsall's website.
"He's played the majority of his career at Championship level but experienced life in League One last season."
