Tranmere midfielder Paul McLaren says the side can take confidence from their FA Cup defeat by Wolves as they try to escape League One relegation.
Rovers face Gillingham on Saturday after suffering only one league defeat in their last six matches.
McLaren told BBC Radio Merseyside: "We created some chances against a Premier League side who have good players.
"Confidence is really intact I think, but we've got to take that into Saturday now."
Despite Tranmere currently lying 22nd in League One and three points from safety, McLaren said the atmosphere in the squad was positive.
"Everyone is playing well at the moment and everyone is in good spirits. Confidence is quite high in the camp and it shows in the way we're playing at the moment," he said.
"The fans can see everyone is working hard. At times I don't think it is the prettiest to watch but it's getting us results."
He continued: "If you look at the league, if we can get a couple of wins under our belt we're not too far from the middle of the table.
"The lads who are not playing at the moment, you look at them in training and they are buzzing and playing well also.
"That can only be a good thing if we can take it into Saturday's game."
