Tranmere defender Shaleum Logan has backed his side to get maximum points from their festive fixtures in a bid to get out of the League One drop zone.

Rovers are three points from safety and face Oldham and Carlisle next.

"Oldham and Carlisle are both winnable games, especially here [Prenton Park] when we have got Carlisle," Logan told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"Oldham aren't having the best of times but I think we can a result. I think we're going to do well."

The 21-year-old full back, on loan from Manchester City, believes the club made the right decision in appointing Les Parry as manager until the end of the season.

"He works us hard but I think all the lads appreciate it," Logan continued. "I think he's doing the right thing and we're stepping in the right direction.

"A few players thought it was a shock that Les got the job, but at the end of the day he's doing well enough to get the job. I think everyone is happy with him."
