Wilson wants Swindon to improve on 15th place in League One next season
Swindon manager Danny Wilson wants to sign another two or three players before the start of the season.
Wilson has brought in five new faces so far this summer, but is keen to add a couple of strikers, with Billy Paynter the only fit senior forward.
"Two or three (more signings) would be nice, but whether we'll get them or not I don't know," he told BBC Wiltshire. "We've got until the end of August.
"If we start the season with some good results, things might fall into place."
Swindon have just returned from their pre-season tour of Austria and Wilson said that should make his recruiting drive a little easier.
"It wasn't easy last week being away, but certainly this week we'll get our noses into work again," he added.
Striker Cherno Samba has been training with the Swindon squad for the past week, and Wilson said a decision on his future will be made in the next couple of days.
