Swindon manager Danny Wilson thinks the Robins will complete another one or two signings before going on their pre-season tour of Austria on Saturday.
The Town have completed three deals this summer, but are still short at full-back, in midfield and up front.
Wilson told BBC Wiltshire: "I would think we'd have one, maybe two players by the end of the week, and maybe one or two more next week.
"We're hoping that we can do a deal on quite a few players before Austria."
The Robins have signed winger Alan O'Brien, keeper David Lucas and defender Gordon Greer so far this summer.
