Rossiter was confident the Robins would win despite their slow start |
Swindon have opened up a five-point lead at the top of the Elite League with a 50-40 victory at Belle Vue. The Robins were behind as late as heat 10, before double-figure scores from Leigh Adams, Matej Zagar and Ryan Fisher sealed the win. Manager Alun Rossiter told BBC Wiltshire he was happy with the result but could have done without the stress. "Very good considering the slow start we had. These boys know how to make me go bald, or grey, or both," he said. Rossiter singled out reserve rider Fisher for particular praise for his return of paid 12 points from seven rides. "Fisher's been absolute quality for us this year, his attitude has been first class."
