Swans fight Tigers for Nugent
Swansea's hopes of signing Leyton Orient striker Kevin Nugent may be hijacked by Hull City.

The Welsh club hope to convert Nugent's loan spell at the Vetch into a permanent deal.

Nugent has spent the last month with the Swans, scoring three goals in four appearances.

There has been interest from Hull, but Kevin's still keen to sign for us

Swansea director of football Brian Flynn

But Swansea director of football Brian Flynn revealed he may face competition for the 33-year-old's signature from Hull boss Peter Taylor.

Taylor is on the look-out for a targetman to further boost the Tigers' attacking options.

Flynn said: "There has been interest from Hull, but Kevin's still keen to sign for us.

"This is something that I'm keen to resolve, and Kevin is too, to be fair."
