Stoke City's Ben Marshall 'ready' for Premier League
Ben Marshall signed for Stoke from Crewe Alexandra in the summer
Stoke City youngster Ben Marshall believes he is ready for Premier League football after successful loan spells with Cheltenham and Northampton.
The 18-year-old midfielder has yet to play a first-team game for the Potters.
"I don't seem to look out of place in training, and if I did get put in the side, I don't think I would do badly," Marshall told BBC Radio Stoke.
"I've travelled with the squad, which is a positive sign. You never know what the manager is thinking."
Marshall started the season on-loan at Northampton, scoring twice in 18 appearances, and then netted two more goals during a loan spell with fellow League Two side Cheltenham.
"It's been a good experience to be playing games and scoring goals, but it's good to be back in training at Stoke and trying to get in the squad," said Marshall.
"I think I could put a good performance in. As long you know yourself that you're doing well, you can't really do much more.
"It's all about confidence and you've got to be confident in your own ability."
