Northampton Town have signed Stoke City winger Ben Marshall on a three-month loan deal, subject to approval from the Premier League.
The 18-year-old, who can play on either wing or up front, joined Stoke from Crewe Alexandra earlier this summer.
"We watched Ben play in pre-season and were very impressed," Cobblers manager Stuart Gray told the club's website.
"He both creates and scores goals. He has a lot of ability and talent and I'm sure he can make a difference to us."
Gray added: "He has got a fantastic delivery, and he is a real threat with the quality he has.
"We are grateful for Tony Pulis for allowing us to borrow him and hopefully he will benefit from his time here."
