Stoke City have completed the double signing of youngsters Matty Lund and Ben Marshall from Crewe Alexandra.
The two players rejected the chance to stay with the Alex and will become professionals at the Britannia Stadium.
They contacted Stoke's academy manager Steve Holland with a view to earning a contract with the Premier League club.
Lund and Marshall are the fourth and fifth young players that the Potters have paid compensation for since Holland took the job in March.
