Plymouth Argyle have completed the signing of American midfielder Anton Peterlin on a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old has been on trial at Home Park in recent weeks, playing in all of Argyle's pre-season friendlies.
Peterlin was released by Everton at the end of last season, having never made an appearance for the first team at Goodison Park.
Plymouth boss Peter Reid has also handed trials to defenders Lee Molyneux and Stephane Kubar.
Molyneux was released by Southampton at the end of last season, while Kubar currently plays for SC Vaslui in Romania.
