Plymouth Argyle have signed Barnet's Jason Puncheon for 250,000.
The 22-year-old, who can play on the wing, up front or behind the strikers, will officially join from Underhill on a three-year deal on 1 July.
He is the first player to be signed by manager Paul Sturrock since the end of last season.
"We have watched him two or three times and we are confident that he can make the step up to the Championship," said Sturrock on the club's website.
"He is an exciting player who will bring something different to our squad."
Puncheon began his professional career at the MK Dons and made 42 appearances for them before being released in January 2006.
After brief spells in non-League football with Fisher Athletic and Lewes he joined Barnet in the summer of 2006 and went on to make 78 appearances for the Underhill club, scoring 15 goals.
He was voted into the PFA's League Two team of the season last month and was named as one of the top 50 players outside the Premiership at the Football League's annual awards.
