Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association for the alleged use of abusive language.
The charge follows Posh's 3-2 defeat to West Brom at London Road on Tuesday, 18 August.
An FA statement said Ferguson's charge related to the use of abusive language towards the match referee in the tunnel.
He has until Tuesday to respond, with a possible hearing 10 days later.
Posh had a late goal disallowed against Albion which meant they missed out on securing their second Championship point of the season.
