Foster praises Oxford's attitude

Foster has played his part in four straight clean sheets for Oxford

Oxford United defender Luke Foster has praised the winning mentality at the club as they maintained their unbeaten start to the Blue Square Premier.

United have not experienced defeat in 10 games and are seven points clear at the top, after a 1-0 win at Wrexham.

"Maybe last season we'd have been ecstatic with a draw and tried to hold out," Foster, 24, told BBC Oxford.

"We are taking the game to teams now and we feel it among ourselves. We want to keep that gap and stay at the top."

United have kept four straight clean sheets but despite their good run, Foster insists they will not get overconfident.

"We enjoy it but we don't get carried away. We will make sure we are focused and work hard, and look forward to Saturday's game and hopefully get another three points," said the defender.
