Green made up for missing a sitter in the goalless draw with Forest Green

Unbeaten Oxford extended their lead at the top of the Blue Square Premier with a comprehensive win at Ebbsfleet.

Oxford dominated the first half and took the lead when Matt Green sprinted from his own half to outpace the Fleet defence and prod past Lance Cronin.

Simon Clist then doubled the lead with a rocket from 18 yards out, and Jamie Cook had a shot from halfway saved.

Fleet should have pulled one back but Leon Crooks and Ricky Shakes got in each other's way and the chance passed.
