Thomas (l) appointed Wilder as U's boss in December
Oxford chairman Kelvin Thomas insists that Chris Wilder is staying at the Kassam Stadium, after the United boss was linked with former club Rotherham.
Newspaper reports in Yorkshire had linked the former Millers player with a return to the club, following Mark Robins' switch to Barnsley.
"I do talk to Chris about this quite regularly," Thomas told BBC Oxford.
"Certainly at this point I don't think there is a club that he would be willing to leave Oxford for."
Thomas added that it is inevitable that Wilder would be linked with other jobs due to his success with Oxford.
"As we get more successful, more and more clubs will come knocking. Even though we don't welcome any approaches we understand that is part of us being successful."
Wilder took over at the Kassam Stadium in December 2008 with United in 13th place in the Blue Square Premier.
The U's finished the campaign just four points outside the play-off places in seventh - despite a five-point Conference penalty for fielding an unregistered player.
This season, Wilder has guided United to the top of the table after a nine-game unbeaten start.
