Oxford United's new manager Chris Wilder says he has been delighted by the attitude of his players after taking them for training.

The 41-year-old was given the job on Sunday, and says he has been encouraged by the reaction of the squad.

"They have been first class and trained really hard," Wilder told BBC Oxford.

"They have shown a great attitude, which is great for me. They want to do well and they want to do well for this football club."
