Delia Smith insists Norwich will not sell Carrow Road to help pay off the club's debt.

The League One outfit announced a £5m loss for the last financial year, taking its total debt to £22.9m.

Chairman Alan Bowkett had told BBC Radio Norfolk that selling the ground was an option for reducing the deficit.

But joint majority shareholder Smith said: "We're not going to sell our ground. We have a wonderful asset, but absolutely not."
