Colchester's Robbie Cowling anger at Paul Lambert exit
Colchester reported Lambert to the Football League after his move
Colchester United chairman Robbie Cowling says Norwich City have not tried to settle on compensation for former boss Paul Lambert.
Lambert left the U's in August, but is set to return to the Community Stadium for the first time with his new side since joining the Canaries on Saturday.
Cowling told BBC Essex: "Delia Smith has never tried to contact me to settle the matter.
"I'm sure she can find my number if she wants to put things right."
Smith has told the BBC she is sorry Norwich have upset Cowling, and added that she would do anything to put it right.
But Cowling hit back strongly.
"I tried to call Delia Smith but she's never bothered to return the call and never tried to put anything right," he said.
"What she has done is spoken to the former Colchester owner Peter Heard which I find quite disrespectful."
